Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Maison Mirrors collects when you enquire about or order a mirror, and what we do with it. We keep this simple on purpose — we're a small Nairobi workshop, not an ad network, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
1. What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote, make and deliver your order:
- Your name and contact details — phone number, WhatsApp, or email.
- Delivery address, and site photos if you send them for a bespoke fit.
- Order details — size, finish, price and order reference.
- M-Pesa payment confirmation codes, used only to match your payment to your order.
We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
2. How we collect it
Directly from you — through the bespoke enquiry form, WhatsApp, email, or a phone call — and, when you check out, whatever you enter at that point (delivery address, chosen size and finish).
3. How we use it
- To quote, confirm and produce your order.
- To arrange delivery and keep you updated on it.
- To match M-Pesa payments to the right order.
- To answer questions and handle any warranty or damage claim.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed to fulfil your order: your payment reference with Safaricom to confirm M-Pesa payment, your name and address with the courier delivering your piece, and your message with WhatsApp/Meta when you contact us that way (subject to their own privacy terms). We don't sell or rent your information to third parties.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as our warranty and accounting obligations require — generally up to seven years — and bespoke enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up with you, or until you ask us to delete them.
6. Your rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how it's used. Email hello@maisonmirrors.co.ke and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to keep the information above secure, and only the people who need it to fulfil your order have access to it.
8. Children
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page with a new date at the top.
